Open Gate – La Strada, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) are collaborating to develop a socio-economic assessment for inclusion of vulnerable individuals in North Macedonia.
For that purpose, we are seeking a qualified contractor to conduct a comprehensive socioeconomic assessment aimed at the inclusion of vulnerable individuals in North Macedonia.
This assessment will focus on the integration challenges and potential contributions of refugees, asylum seekers, and persons with disabilities to the local economy.
Key Tasks:
- Overview of current labor market needs
- Recommendations for private sector, government, and applicants
- Exploration of socio-economic integration specifics
- Identification of barriers and market-based interventions
- Evaluation of potential economic gains from inclusion
Target Groups:
- Employment Service Agency
- Municipalities
- Business community
- Persons with disabilities
- Beneficiaries of international or temporary protection and asylum seekers
- TVET providers
- Employers/private sector
- Chamber of commerce
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in research and analysis, particularly in socioeconomic and labor inclusion
- Strong understanding of North Macedonia’s social, political, and economic systems
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders
